Facing up to the challenge of more advanced technology development and delivering trusted technical services
Since its establishment in Kashiwa, Chiba, in August of 1988, our Engineering Research & Development Center has been at the core of our technical development, providing a wealth of engineering research & development, and support. Here, through the development of equipment, devices and construction methods, the provision of robotic and remote technical services, the provision of technical services that leverage our research facilities, and the development of human talent, we work on a daily basis on the decommisioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and the development of new technologies required for the operation and decommissioning of nuclear power plants and other facilities.

A full range of analytical equipment
Using high precision physical property analysis, chemical analysis, and radioactivity measurement equipment, we provide a range of measurement, analysis and evaluation services, such as material analysis and work environment measurement.
Verification, testing, and training on full-scale models
At our mockup facility, where we can simulate on-site conditions with equipment such as a full-scale mockup pool, we are working to improve operational safety by carrying out test runs on development equipment and development methods in order to confirm workability and safety and conduct operational training, etc.
