At the Okuma Analysis and Research Center of the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), analysis is done so as to clarify the status of low-and-medium level solid radioactive waste collected from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.
Furthermore, there is also a variety of environmental monitoring conducted, and, as a source of information concerning the countermeasures employed for decommissioning and contaminated water treatment, data that is obtained by the monitoring process is prepared for publishing.
