For us, technology development consists in developing
devices for nuclear facilities but also for many other applications.
Based on our operational experience at our clients' sites, we gather
precious feedback allowing continuous improvement of the technologies.
Our R & D activities focus especially on work automatization, safety
improvement, costs limitation and efficiency.
New devices development
Our R & D activities focus on four topics : Decontamination & Cleaning, Waste treatment, Contamination prevention and Safety improvement.
Decontamination and Cleaning technologies
ATOX is proud to introduce proprietary equipments such as a wall decontamination robot, a blasting equipment, a pool bottom cleaner, a mask decontamination equipment.
Radioactive waste treatment technologies
waste information management, waste volume reduction.
Contamination prevention technologies
Devices are developed to prevent contamination at the nuclear power plant. Examples include a "Cask cover" and a "Bulkhead floor sheet"
Technologies to improve safety and quality of work
Technologies such as "Scaffold for CW pipes" and "Scaffold for water condenser" can greatly increase the works' safety.
Technology Development Center
All these technologies are designed in ATOX's Technology Development Center: improving the efficiency and safety of the work, based on an approach called "Man to machine".
