December 19, 2011 ATOX has published the annual report“ATOX TECHNICAL REPORT”No.3 2011 on December 1, 2011. In this report, engineering research and development activities, etc. were shown.
November 10, 2011 A cerebration for completion of “KamLAND-Zen” experimental devices was held by the Research Center for Neutrino Science(RCNS)of Tohoku University on October 28, 2011.
In the cerebration, ATOX was presented a testimonial from Professor Inoue, RCNS Director for cooperation with there research.
October 14, 2011 Date City of Fukushima Prefecture was established the “Date City Decontamination Support Center”on October 11, 2011.
ATOX was entrusted the technical support from Date City.
August 24, 2011 The Secretary General of Consumer Affairs Agency, Mr. Fukushima Hirohiko visited the Engineering Research & Development Center of ATOX on August 11, 2011.

The party observed a radioactivity measurement equipment placed at ATOX, by Kashiwa City of Chiba Prefecture for inspection of radionuclides in agricultural products which is now being conducted by Kashiwa City since August, 2011.
August 1, 2011 Three officials from Kashiwa City of Chiba Prefecture headed by Mr. Akiyama Hiroyasu of the mayor visited the Engineering Research & Development Center of ATOX on July 28, 2011.

The team observed activity measuring equipment of Kashiwa City which was placed by ATOX, and requested ATOX to cooperate for inspection of radionuclides in agricultural products which would be conducted by Kashiwa City from August.
July 25, 2011 National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) team up with ATOX jointly confirmed that glass cullet obtained from the CRT glass collected in recycling of used electronics television (crushing scrap glass) is effective in shielding the radiation.
June 1, 2011 We held an initiation ceremony to welcome our fifty new employees on June 1.
The ceremony was delayed for 2 months due to the influence of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

New employee representative expressed strong oath to our company.
May 28, 2011 Opening ceremony of Fukushima Reconstruction Task Force office, which was opened on April, 11, was held on May 28, 2011.

President Mr. Yaguchi Toshikazu reaffirmed our decision to contribute to the stabilization and reconstruction of the Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear Power Plants as soon as possible.
April 11,2011 Fukushima Reconstruction Task Force office of ATOX was established in Iwaki city to provide services for recovery of Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear Power Plant.
April 6, 2011 We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the people who suffered loss in the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Currently, we are sure that there are no casualties on our employees. For our facilities, some damage has been confirmed in the offices of Fukushima area.

March 16, 2011 We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the people who suffered loss in the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011.

In Atox group, staffs were affected, the buildings and facilities were damaged in the earthquake-stricken area. We are presently confirming the extent of the damage.

February 24, 2011 Nuclear Decommissioning Workshop (President, Mr. Ishikawa Michio, Former President of Japan Nuclear Technology Institute) visited our facility of Technology Development Center on February 24, 2011.
January 24, 2011 Research Center for Neutrino Science of Tohoku University conducted a development experiment of mini balloon that will be utilized in the KamLAND on simulated reactor well in our laboratory building.
January 10, 2011 Atox gave a lecture for cleaning service of the building to the students of Tomioka Care Nursing School on November 20, 2010.
Sep. 1th 2008 Establishment of a new Department specialized in
decontamination and decommissioning.

We have extensive experiences of having done works in nuclear related facilities for repair, maintenance and dismantling of the facilities and the equipments which involve operations such as removal of radioactive substances, lifting of radiation control area and management of radioactive waste and so on, what is so called decommissioning works. And we expect that our knowledge, know-how and skills as having been built up through those experiences can be dedicated to operations for decommissioning of the nuclear related facilities and its decontamination operations to be implemented. Through the establishment of a new Department this time, we will unify information both from internal and external aspects so that we can meet demands on the decommissioning related works by much effective manner than ever.

Jun.23th 2008 Mr. Toshikazu Yaguchi was named the new President of ATOX Co., Ltd.!
