How to start an individual dosimetry monitoring

Applications must follow the procedure described below.

1. Get the application form for "Individual dosimetry monitoring"

2. Fill in the application form and attach the required documents.

In order to apply for an individual dosimetry monitoring, the following documents must be provided

  • Individual dosimetry monitoring application
  • Individual dosimetry monitoring form (filled)
  • Identity document (copy of your driving license, passport or resident card)
  • 2 color photographs (3 p ×2.4 cm)

3. Once we get all the required documents, the individual dosimetric monitoring will be received within 4 business days (Fedex). Please check that the information is correct.

Privacy

Every individual working at a nuclear facility and who may be exposed to radiation is registered in the nationwide "Exposure dose registration and control " database.
The system is used collectively by the facilities and organizations implementing dosimetry monitoring. A company is authorized to transmit an employee's personal information when this individual applies for a job in another company upon a request from this company, in order for them to check the dosimetry background of the employee.

Training on individual radiation control

ATOX implements the trainings mentioned in the Japanese law on Radiation damage prevention. For radiation control fundamentals training sessions, our clients include public institutes such as the Takasaki Advanced Radiation Research Institute of the Japan Atomic Energy Agency.
