Asbestos removal

Asbestos is a natural fibrous mineral. Due to interesting properties (acoustic and thermal isolation, corrosion and chemical resistance, low price), it has been used widely in Japan in more than 3 000 products including building materials, electrical components, cars etc.
However, asbestos is very harmful for the human health, so that specific management and disposal methods have been described in several regulations (Occupational Safety and Health Act, Clean Air Act, Waste Disposal and Cleaning Law). Asbestos removal requires, in order to prevent inhalation of the fibers during the works, the services of specialized companies with improved technologies.
